What We Own

Posted on by Brian Hertzog

What we "own" will not define who we are.  Prada, Louis Vuitton, Wal-Mart--brands speak to people.  Brands "communicate".

But the truth, is the only thing we really own is our love for one another.  We can't take our BMW's, our iPads, or our Prada bags with us when we meet the unwanted visitor (the Egyptians tried).  Also, we don't ever really own anything physical in this world.  We more accurately "borrow it" and then leave it behind.

What we own will not define you, me, or anybody.  Ultimately, what we love, experience, and share will define us--not what we "own".
